We are happy to announce that our short film Reaction is an official selection at the 2011 Secret City Film Festival in Oakridge, TN. It will be shown on September 17th.

Blade Media Productions will be participating in the Knoxville 24 Hour Film Fest. If you are interested in being a part of this production we are looking for the following crew and actors.
Crew:
Sound/Boom Pole Operator – We will be recording dual system audio with an H4n/Shotgun Mic/Boom Pole, etc.
Hair and Make Up Artist – We are looking for a skilled hair and make up artist who can provide their own product. We can compensate you for product that is used.
Writer/Script Supervisor – We are looking for the right person to be a part of our writing team, and to serve as script supervisor on set.
General Grip – We are looking for someone to serve as a general grip assistant to work with the DP to setup lights, hold reflectors, etc.
Actors:
Due to the nature of the 24 Hour Film Fest we will not know the exact nature of the story until we begin the competition. Therefore we are recruiting all actors we can find, male/female, young and old. We will do our best to work all of the actors in to the story in some form or another.

Here is the workflow view of the Exit Strategy trailer from After Effects. We use After Effects as the last step in our editing/onlining workflow. All of the special effects are created in AE, and then finally the color correction is added as the last step.
